As advised by NHS Services Scotland, a new SDR (168) will take effect from 1st November 2025, introducing an uplift in fees and two minor clinical item updates.
Fee uplift: All applicable NHS Scotland treatment fees have been updated in line with SDR 168.
Item 1(c) unscheduled care assessment: Six new clinical reasons have been added to the dropdown when claiming this item:
Item 2(b) fissure sealants: The restriction on upper lateral permanent incisors and Ds and Es has been removed. You can now chart and claim fissure sealants on these teeth in the same way as any other eligible teeth.
These updates will automatically apply to any treatment plans started on or after 1st November 2025 in Dentally.
