Supernumerary charting is coming to Dentally

Supernumerary teeth can now be charted, treated, and billed directly on the patient odontogram. A dedicated row keeps each supernumerary tooth linked to its nearest standard tooth position, and the '|SD' label follows every treatment through the chart, clinical history, invoice and claim. Accurate records, all the way through treatment.

Here's what you can do:

  • Add a supernumerary tooth by selecting 'SD' to the left of the chart.
  • Click a slot to add a supernumerary tooth to the patient's chart.
  • Chart and treat it exactly as you would a standard tooth.
  • Update or remove it via a status change, keeping the full clinical history intact.
  • Bill through the standard charge workflow, and the |SD label will be carried through to the invoice and history.

This feature is rolling out now, so if you can’t already see it in your chart, you will soon.
